About Bavarian Sports Club
The Bavarian Sports Club is the "Last remaining private German clubhouse in the greater Toledo area." They came together to promote German and Bavarian culture in Toledo. While originally started by soccer players in 1930, they also have 2 dance groups, D'Holzhacker Buam Schuhplattler Gruppe and the Deutsche Volkstanz Gruppe (in partnership with the Toledo Turners), an active Ladies Auxiliary, Shooting group and a Motorcycle Riding Club. "Komm Tanz mit Uns!" (Come dance with us.) We are always looking for more members, dancers young and old and especially for musicians. We would LOVE another Accordion, Button Box, Zither or Tuba player. This is a great family experience and the kids make friends for life!

Friday night dinners are always fun and the family atmosphere that you feel while there is unmatched. This is a members only club but welcome to others that would like to come check us out and join. We have various events and lots to do for the kids. We have dance groups, a bowling league, motorcycle club, schützen Verein (shooting club) and more. Give the club a call to schedule a walkthrough 😊

Every Fri they have a home cooked meal for around $12.00 Full bar & very family friendly its a private club but we welcome new guest even just for a meal public welcome, lots of good people & fun!

A bit intimidating at first but just check it out. I didn’t know anything about the dancing but it was very patient and welcoming to give it a try! Have a few beers, learn some dances! Food seems to be just on Friday’s so Mon or Weds is prob night to just go and watch or join in. Look at the calendar on FB to know what’s going on when.

The Bavarian Sports Club is awesome! Good food, good people and a great environment. If you have the chance stop out and enjoy the family atmosphere.
